Support Mission Support
Network
There are many ways you can support Mission Support
Network.
1. Prayer Support
This is obviously the one we need the most. As
well as your personal prayer time, one suggestion would be
to bring Mission Support Network to your prayer group or church
study group for prayer. By being on our email newsletter
list, you will be kept up to date as to what our current needs
are.
Continual needs for prayer:
- Pilots- always need lots of prayer
cover as they are constantly putting themselves at risk
flying over jungle terrain where there are no landing
places if equipment fails. Also the weather and
flying conditions in equatorial mountainous country is some
of the most challenging flying in the world.
- Volunteer staff - From the ground
staff at base to the national volunteer missionary nurses
and teachers, they all need your prayers as often they are
on the front lines where the Devil works the hardest to
resist God's work.
- Government working relations - always
a challenge with required licenses and paperwork.
2. Financial Support
Mission work is a never ending black hole when it comes to
finances. While Mission Support Network is able to cover
much of its operating expenses through charter services, there
is so much that is needed beyond that. Here is a short
list of where your donations may go.
- Airplane costs - There is much need
for more planes and bases in Papua New Guinea and
neighboring island countries. The need is staggering
and we hope to march forward as God supplies the
resources.
- Base costs - Hangars, tooling, housing
and more
- Communication costs - In a country where communications
are about 50 years behind in many ways but right up to date
in others, the cost of establishing a communications
network that allows us to stay in contact with supporters
and with the remote projects is huge.
- Volunteer stipends and travel costs -
Moving the national volunteers around to their projects as
well as the housing needed for volunteers at the base can
be a considerable expense
- Medical Evacuations when the person in
need has no funds to pay for their travel.
- Necessary travel to carry on business
for the organization. It will be necessary at times
to bring in maintenance personnel for the aircraft as well
as travel to government headquarters to handle business and
travel costs in PNG are high.
One Time Donations:
When God impresses and enables you to send a gift for a one
time donation, there are several ways this can be done. For
those in the U.S. who would like to receive credit for tax
purposes, Hope On Wings Foundation has agreed
to handle donations for Mission Support
Network.
- Send your check made payable to
Hope On Wings Foundation

-
Give online using credit or debit card (Click on
button)
- Other methods will be added here in the
future
Monthly Donations:
For many of you, the easiest way to make a BIG difference is
to send a small amount each month. The power of $15 or
$25 multiplied by hundreds and thousands reminds me of the
huge ant hills I have seen. For most this would only mean
giving up one night out each month. It wouldn't even be
missed.
Again, this can be done by check but it is much easier for
all if it is set up to be automatic. Currently you can
set up a subscription through Paypal which is very simple to
set up and does not cost you anything to have an account.
By just clicking on one of the options below and following
through the process, you will automatically have a Paypal
account that can be associated with either a credit card or
bank account. I have used Paypal for 10 years and found
it to be very safe and easy.
$15.00 per month
$25.00 per month
$50.00 per month
Until we have our base set up in Vanimo, it is best to use
Hope On Wings Foundation for donations.
Mission Support Network is being set up as a
non-profit association in Papua New Guinea and donations can be
sent directly there once we have our mailing address posted
here. However, if you need tax credit in U.S., you will
want to send through Hope On Wings
Foundation.
