Hi Jack,
NEWS !! Simon rang and he has been told by his broker that they expect all the paper work to be clear by this Thursday. He has to make a call to the finance company again in the morning and hopes to give me a definite date by mid morning tomorrow. If they get the plane Thursday, Chris Simons dad is anxious to fly it up Friday. He is keen to connect with some of his old MAF and SIL friends up there. If the plane cannot make that schedule, it sounds like I will need to take it up a week later. If it is released Thursday and flown up Friday, it will mean that it will need maintenance in 50 hours time. Simon will probably come up if Linden is busy. I guess I would really prefer Simon to get a good look at it here where spare parts are much cheaper and more readily available and go up with the knowledge that it has had a thorough looking over. But I understand that Chris really wants to make the flight and well ...after all the maintenance costs are there risk. So that is another step forward. The glimmer at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter now and praise God for it.
God bless Regards Trevor

BIG NEWS!
Simon has just rung. The finance company has just settled the deal on the plane!! So it looks like I will head up there this Sunday as planned. I am just waiting for some paper work to be faxed from Roger at Goroka with updated dates on it for the customs issues getting back into the country.
Praise the Lord! This is a great day. We finally have a plane to make a start with.
Regards when Elana should join us, I think one critical issue is transportation. It is not safe to be walking a lot of places any more and I have come to the conclusion that I would prefer Lorretta not to come until I can get something organized as a vehicle. It may take a couple of months to get a decent one. I have been keeping my eye out but most of the ones I have seen, you wouldn’t use as a dog kennel. I may end up buying one here in Australia and shipping it up. Need to find out the costs. I want to have some work done at the house security wise too. Gate does not work properly, doors need locks changed fence needs repairs etc. I would like to take away the stairs both sides of the house and put an internal stair case in. There have been so many break ins at that house. It is between 2 rascal infested settlements. I am looking forward to being able to have a new address as soon as possible. I guess I would like to live there for a little bit to see how the security situation really is before exposing an expat female to it. I guess I would like to get up there and get the cash flowing before I get locked into expenses which are anchored in time. It will be a financial priority to get a work vehicle that we can use for protection when we need to go some where and to get materials etc.
Simon and Chris just rang back. They are on their way to Mareeba to put fuel in the airplane and check oil etc. It is being flown to Townsville first thing in the morning for the service.
God bless
Regards
Trevor
